DXTradeBiz/ adsXposed Advantage

I noticed that after I purchased advertising for a domain registered by one of my associates, he was able to collect a percentage of the money I spent on the adsXposed campaign (der)!

adsXposed (for Business) is one of the most cost effective targeted PPC available for advertisers. The minimal amount needed per click is 0.005 USD!!! However, only Production Funds can be spent on advertising with DX.

The good news is that you can earn a rebate on your advertising if you have registered your own domain name that contains the target URL. A workaround for affiliate sites that are already registered by someone else in the DXTradeBiz is to set up a quick redirection from your own domain to the affiliate page. Easy, right?

It pays to 'strike whilst the iron is hot', since you only have six months to collect the maximum 30% commission per domain.

So theoretically, you would only be paying a minimum of 70% x 0.005 USD = 0.0035 USD per verified clickthru, or 3.50 USD per 1,000 verified clickthru's!!! It gets better, also. I have noticed that about 50% of clickthru's are unverified, ie. the visitor has already clicked another ad on the publisher's site. This means that you would get on average, 1,000 highly targeted clickthru's per 1.75 USD!!! THAT IS UNBELIEVABLE!!!

That totally slays AdWords, etc. in terms of affordability!!! Plus, click fraud possibility is GREATLY DECREASED thanks to; 1. low incentive for publishers, 2. adsXposed challenge reduces 'completed' clickthru's, 3. only one verified clickthru per IP (obviously).

This is just another example of how DXSynergy is/ is going to take the internet world by STORM!!!

OK, so let's take an example of a high quality product that costs the buyer 10.00 USD and returns you 5.00 USD profit. On average, 1 percent to 2 percent of people are going to buy your product. Let's be conservative and say 1 percent. Then you pay 2.00 USD for 1,000 clickthru's, takes about a month to get those.

10 people will buy your product. 10 x 5.00 USD is 50.00 USD, minus 2.00 USD = 48.00 USD profit. THAT'S A 2400% RETURN ON INVESTMENT!!!

These kinds of returns are realistic, provided you have an excellent product/ service.

What is Cyberstalking?

Protection from Cyberstalking

Computers and the Internet are becoming indispensable parts of America's culture, and cyberstalking is a growing threat.

What is Cyberstalking? Cyberstalking can be defined as threatening behavior or unwanted advances directed at another using the Internet and other forms of online and computer communications. Cyberstalking occurs when electronic mediums such as the Internet are used to pursue, harass or contact another in an unsolicited fashion. Internet CyberStalking is used to slander and endanger victims, taking on a public rather than private dimension.

Cyberstalking is the term used to describe stalking behavior undertaken by way of computer. Although no universal definition exists, cyberstalking occurs when an individual or group uses the Internet to stalk or harass another. Essentially cyberstalking is the act of stalking using the Internet, e-mail, or other electronic communication devices. Everyone who receives e-mail or uses the Internet is susceptible to cyberstalking.

In order to address cyberstalking, it is critical to understand stalking in general. The fact that cyberstalking does not involve physical contact may create the misperception that it is less threatening or dangerous than physical stalking. In many cases, cyberstalking is simply another phase in an overall stalking pattern, or it is regular stalking behavior using new technological tools. Essentially, cyberstalking is an extension of the physical form of stalking.

The anonymity of online interaction reduces the chance of identification and makes cyberstalking more common than physical stalking. The ease of use and non-confrontational, impersonal, and sometimes anonymous nature of Internet communications may remove disincentives to cyberstalking. Although cyberstalking might seem relatively harmless, it can cause victims psychological and emotional harm, and occasionally leads to actual stalking. More disturbingly, pornographers and pedophiles have begun to use cyberstalking as a way of locating new victims.

It is commonly assumed that cyberstalking is not as serious or harmful as real world stalking. It is true that cyberstalking bears little physical resemblance to traditional stalking methods such as following and loitering.

Cyberstalking is a relatively new phenomenon. The stream of data is sketchy, but some insights into cyberstalking trends are emerging. As with regular stalking, cyberstalking often begins when you attempt to break off a relationship. Anecdotal evidence from law enforcement agencies indicates that cyberstalking is a serious, and growing problem.

While cyberstalking has become a worldwide problem, most cases originate in the United States, making Americans the most vulnerable group of targets. It is estimated that there may potentially be tens or even hundreds of thousands of cyberstalking victims in the United States. A common area regarding cyberstalking is at the "edu" sites, which are educational institutes, such as colleges and universities. While, historically, cyberstalking has mostly been men stalking women, the reverse is happening more often as well.

In many instances, cyberstalking is simply another phase in an overall stalking pattern, or it is regular stalking behavior using new, high-technology tools. Keep a record of contact made (in relation to the cyberstalking event) with website administrators, victim support organizations and law enforcement personnel. Often, cyberstalking ventures offline and the cyberstalker may attempt to track down the victim physically. These things are important because online cyberstalking and bullying is increasing, and further, is grossly underreported.

By the use of new technology and equipment which cannot be policed by traditional methods, cyberstalking has replaced traditional methods of stalking and harassment. The investigation of cyberstalking and other computer crimes can be complex. The lack of adequate statutory authority also can limit law enforcement's response to cyberstalking incidents. Out-of-date and missing account, subscriber, and user information, as well as anonymizing tools, presented problems for law enforcement during cyberstalking investigations.

Can Anybody Make Money Online?

At one time weve all wondered how possible the chances are to make money off the internet. I was there once, and it took some time before I was able to do it, but I know that it is relatively easy to make money. The amount to be made is the hard part. There are many different areas of the internet you can make money with and sometimes all the areas flow together to form 1 huge money machine!

Ive looked through countless ways of making money online. Ive also tried different things offline but 3 years ago I never imagined I would be well off due to making money from the internet. Since I didnt have money to begin with I was going about everything the cheapest way I could do it. Sure you can make money with gold but you need several thousand dollars invested in order to make anything! The money Im making online is something anybody can do. Ive narrowed down the choices of online opportunities to the 4 methods that provide me with a living.

You have probably heard of paid surveys and Ill tell you now that they are the easiest way for ANYBODY to make online money with. The amount you make will depend on where you live but there is money available to everyone in all parts of the world. For instance, if youre in New York City youll be in the heart of the action so its possible to make a living just off of taking surveys and participating in focus groups. There are people out there living this way and theyre enjoying a simple life. Theyll never become rich but theyre job-free!

I live in Canada where Im 4 hours away from the closest focus groups so the income I make is strictly from surveys but I still make anywhere from $20-$100 a week. It might not sound like much but its extra money in the pocket! Throw in the occasional winning draw and those earnings go up higher. I once won $2500 and have won quite a few draws worth $100-$250! Paid survey companies usually include mystery-shopping opportunities as well so youre sometimes getting paid to eat a FREE meal. This is just my personal experience but if I were living ANYWHERE in the U.S.A. I could be making 4 times the amount.

Yes, you can make money taking surveys but thats not where the top dollars are. I cant give away the other secret methods so easily but I will tell you that the other opportunities I provide in my Four For 1 website are where people are making it rich off the internet! The amount made depends partly on luck and partly on how much you put into it. Some people may have a knack for the money-making-methods and could be earning $1000s a week within the first month. This can just as likely happen from a pure stroke of luck! Other people might have to work for 6 months before they see any significant profits. The thing is, the profits do come and when they do it is very exciting because you know youve done it yourself.

There are other sites on the net that give you a single opportunity and charge you money whether you make any or not. On my site I have provided all 4 methods because I know you will make money this way. Some methods may not work for everyone while others may make it rich using all 4 methods! I know all 4 methods work because Im becoming very wealthy because of them!

It is very possible to make money online and almost easier than most people think. It could be as little as 10 cents at a time or as much as $100 at a time. It all depends on the area youve chosen and how much work youre putting into it. 10 cents at a time may sound like very little but if youre making a steady 10 cents every 10 seconds then youre looking at an awful lot of money.

The amount of work you put into these methods is how you will make money. Surveys will pay you by piecework in other words youll get paid for each survey. With the other 3 methods there will be work in the beginning but it will run mostly on autopilot from then on. Sit back and watch your bank account grow. Its really a great feeling once youve accomplished it.

I work when I want now and its not all that much. My goal in the beginning was to make $100 a day so I would no longer have to worry about working in factories. That goal was hit rather quickly and I now average $500-$1000 every day of the week. I often get days where Ill make over $2000! That may sound like more than enough to you but my work has now become my hobby and Im constantly creating more ways to make the money. You need something to do in between vacations!

If you decide to try these methods out for yourself, I would set a goal equal to your current pay before quitting your job if youre currently working. Give up a couple hours of TV or video games every night and consider this your part-time job. Dont quit your job unless youre sure of the money coming in. If suddenly you hit your target it doesnt mean you will be making the same amount the next day. You have to be sure of yourself and know that the income is steady. I strongly recommend this.

So YES, there is money to be made on the internet but it doesnt come instantly. Even the surveys require work on your part, but being able to work from home in your spare time is worth the extra time and effort in the beginning.

If youre interested in finding out more on my other 3 methods, you can visit http://www.fourfor1.com

Good luck and happy earnings.

The Shawshank Redemption (DVD) Review

Nominated for seven Academy Awards including Best Picture, The Shawshank Redemption amazingly failed to win a single Oscar. Its amazing because its probably one of the top ten best films ever produced. Based on Stephen Kings short story Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption, the film transcends the typical intellectually and spiritually bankrupt Hollywood entertainment of the modern era with an onscreen artistry that is the closest well probably ever see to poetry in moving pictures. With masterful performances by Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins, audience members will find themselves engrossed in a tragic story wrought with suspense at every turn.

The Shawshank Redemption focuses on the life of Andy Dufresne (Robbins), a prominent banker convicted of murdering his wife and her lover. Sent to Shawshank prison in the summer of 1947, the inmates bet on which of the new arrivals will be the first to crack. Ellis Red Redding (Freeman), an institutional fixture and the man who can provide anything for a price, puts his money on Andy. But much to his surprise, Andy doesnt make a sound.

Over time, Andy and Red develop a close friendship, and Red procures a small rock hammer for Andy. As the years go by, he procures other items as well, the most interesting being Rita Hayworth. Red acquires a poster of the screen siren for Andy, and business continues as usual in Shawshank. Along the way, Andy ingratiates himself with the notorious prison guard Byron Hadley (Clancy Brown) and Warden Samuel Norton (Bob Gunton). Putting his outside skills to good use, Andy provides tax advice and tax preparation services to guards not just at Shawshank, but other prisons as well.

Eventually, in exchange for a comprehensive prison library, he ends up running a massive money laundering operation for Norton leveraging prison labor in exchange for lucrative kickbacks. But all goes awry when Shawshanks newest prisoner, a young punk named Tommy (Gil Bellows) comes forward with shocking information. Andy, whos spent twenty years in Shawshank prison, might be innocent after all The revelation ruins lives and destroys Andys prison sanctuary, but its Warden Norton and his associates who are ruined when the beautiful pin-up Raquel Welch reveals her hidden secret.

Directed by Frank Darabont, producer of such hit films as The Green Mile (1999) and The Majestic (2001), The Shawshank Redemption is a film of absolute breathtaking perfection that ranks near the top of most lists of the best films ever produced. Thomas Newmans musical score, reused in countless films in the years since its release, blends together with brilliant casting, memorable screen performance, and masterful set design to create an unmatched and timeless epic. If you havent seen The Shawshank Redemption, you arent just missing out on a great film, but a great life experience as well. Do yourself a favor and see this movie.

Do You Use These 6 Clear Set Criteria In Selecting An Internet Home Business?

Are you spending hours and hours everyday in front of your computer looking for an internet home business? Without clear set criteria, you are simply wasting your time and most likely will fall on a spurious opportunity or an outright scam. With the hundreds of internet home businesses available online, you will literally freeze as to which of these you would join.

Listed below are the most important factors you should consider when choosing your internet home business.

1) Are people buying from this internet home business? Would there be people prepared to pay for this product or service? You may have a very good product with every bells and whistles included in it, but if nobody is buying, then what good is that in your business? How do you know that people are buying? Well, if the business has been running for a while, most likely, people are still buying the product or service. If it's a newer product then you'll have to use your guts. If you buy something and feel good about it then the likelihood is high that there will be a lot more people that will feel just as good as you did about buying it.

More competitors on the product or service would mean that you are in a viable market and you'll just have to learn to be good at selling or promoting your product or service. There are many internet home businesses in which you don't have to sell anything. Some of the best internet home businesses don't even require you to sell a product. How is this done? You simply refer potential customers to a company and get paid a commission on each customer you refer or who buys. What makes this kind of business extremely attractive is that you don't have to deal with customer support, product delivery or any of the normal home business troubles.

2) Training and Support. One of the most important aspects of any business system, especially if its new to you, is training and support. At least there should be an email address or a phone number to contact if you need personal help. Some internet home businesses provide a web based training and support to their members. The advantage of the web based training and support is that it is readily available anywhere and anytime as long as there is an internet connection. The training system and support should show all there is to know to make money on the internet and should also be easy to follow.

3) Little Experience Needed. The lack of technical knowledge greatly increases failure rates in internet home business. Imagine a mom whose only experience is tending the family, she decides to start an internet business, the next day, she is introduced to css, html, pop-ups, php, blog, merchant account, hosting, autoresponder, sales copy, etc. Instead of simply marketing her business, she would be buried into the technical stuff. A good internet home business should only require a little experience, say; a working knowledge of the internet and operating a computer should be enough.

4) Income Potential. Will this internet business bring in real money for you? Hey, were talking of business here not hobby. So the income potential should not be low. Another thing to inquire is if the income potential sustainable. You may get plenty of sales this month but what about the months that follow? Does it offer multiple streams of income so that when one income stream closes, there are still plenty left? Is the income recurring, that is, you get money every month? A good example is web hosting and subscription based sites. Every month you get paid.

5) Can Be Done Part-Time: This is very important because a lot of programs out there say they're the perfect part time business but the only way to get any real results is to do it full time. The main reasons you are embarking on an internet home business is the money and freedom that it brings. Freedom to spend your time at things you love. The internet home business you will choose should not tie you up in front of your computer for hours and hours. A good internet home business is pretty automated. Once you set things up, the business runs by itself. You spend a couple of hours a day, tweak and change some things, then leave the system to run.

When talking about internet home business, the second thing that comes to your mind, after money, is the lifestyle. Think of it, if you have to spend 8-10 hours per day in your internet home business, it doesnt leave much time for fun. That would be more of a job.

6) Company History: With so many scams out there, one thing to look for is a stable opportunity. Look for a business that has been around for a while, say 2 years. Well, there are new opportunities that are worthwhile but you should prefer for an internet home business that has been successful. You are going to invest your own money here so better be sure. You can go to search engines and check. Check the forums. Call the owner over the phone. Send an email to the owner and ask about the business.

These are the six basic things by which you measure an internet home business. Obviously, there are other things but the ones mentioned above are the critical starting points which when used would result in a good business decision.

Introduction To .UK Domain Disputes

The .uk registry is the worlds fourth largest (after the .com, .org and .de registries). It is administered by Nominet, a not-for-profit company based in Oxford, England. Nominet acts not just as the .uk registry, but also as the .uk dispute resolution service provider.

Nominet does not use the UDRP for dispute resolution, but has instead created a distinctive system inspired by the UDRP. The substantive rules governing .uk disputes are set out in Nominets dispute resolution policy document (referred to below simply as the "Policy") and its dispute resolution procedure document.

Procedural rules

The Nominet dispute resolution procedure is a close relative of the UDRP procedure. However, there are some important differences.

There is a free mediation service built in to the Nominet procedure. The mediation process involves a neutral third party who tries to bring the complainant and respondent to agreement through "shuttle diplomacy". If the parties can resolve their dispute before the mediation period comes to a close, Nominet waives its fee.

Another distinctive feature of the Nominet procedure is the possibility of appealing an expert's decision (in Nominet proceedings, panellists are called "experts"). By contrast there is no appeal other than to a court of law from a decision under the UDRP or the EURid rules.

A single expert always decides "first instance cases". Should either party appeal the first instance decision, a three member panel will be appointed to decide the appeal. At the time of writing, there have only ever been six appeals.

The Nominet fee is always paid by the complainant. At present, that fee stands at 750 plus VAT. There is also a fee of 3000 plus VAT payable by a person invoking the appeal procedure.

The remedies available are cancellation or transfer. Unlike in UK litigation, there are no provisions for the unsuccessful party to pay the successful partys costs.

Substantive rules

Basic rule is that: "A Respondent must submit to proceedings under the Dispute Resolution Service if a Complainant asserts to us, according to the Procedure, that: (i) The Complainant has Rights in respect of a name or mark which is identical or similar to the Domain Name; and (ii) The Domain Name, in the hands of the Respondent, is an Abusive Registration." (Paragraph 2(a) of the Policy.)

"Rights" are treated in a similar way to rights under the UDRP: the test is not a difficult one to meet.

The idea of an "Abusive Registration" maps imperfectly on to the concepts of legitimate interest and bad faith under the UDRP.

Rights in a name or mark

Paragraph 1 of the Nominet Policy provides that: "Rights includes, but is not limited to, rights enforceable under English law. However, a Complainant will be unable to rely on rights in a name or term which is wholly descriptive of the Complainant's business."

In practice these rights are often rights arising out of registered UK or Community trade marks.

However, the rights can also be rights in the tort of passing off. This is a complex subject, but most experts will be prepare to accept that a complainant has unregistered trade mark rights which could give rise to an action in passing off where the complainant can show substantial use of a mark or name as a trade mark in the UK. It is probably fair to say that the standard of proof required by Nominet experts of these unregistered rights is significantly lower than that required by the English courts in a passing off action - although in passing off cases the evidence is usually being used to prove a different point.

Rights can also mean contractual rights e.g. where one person has contracted with another to transfer the domain, but then refuses to do so.

which is identical or similar to the domain name

Because most Nominet experts have at least some expertise of trade mark law, the concepts of identity and similarity are heavily conditioned by the comparable concepts in trade mark law.

As regards identity, the domain name extensions are ignored, so that the trade mark MERCEDES is identical to the domain name mercedes.co.uk. Similar formal differences (e.g. the use of hyphens in a domain name in place of spaces) should not upset a finding of identity.

Similarity is more difficult. In European trade mark law there is a concept which may be called "confusing similarity", and it is this concept which experts are accustomed to apply when comparing one mark to another. The question is: would the public be confused by the use of the marks or names, or associate one with the other. Judging by the detail of experts decisions, a similar question is often asked in .uk domain name dispute arbitrations.

Abusive registration

"Abusive Registration means a Domain Name which either: (i) was registered or otherwise acquired in a manner which, at the time when the registration or acquisition took place, took unfair advantage of or was unfairly detrimental to the Complainant's Rights; OR (ii) has been used in a manner which took unfair advantage of or was unfairly detrimental to the Complainant's Rights." (Paragraph 1 of the Nominet Policy)

Note that the abuse can take place either at the time of registration/acquisition or subsequently. In either case, the key ideas are those of taking "unfair advantage of" or being "unfairly detrimental to" the complainants rights.

Proving an allegation of abusive registration

A non-exhaustive list of factors which may be evidence that the domain name is an abusive registration is set out in paragraph 3(a) of the Nominet Policy:

"(i) Circumstances indicating that the Respondent has registered or otherwise acquired the Domain Name primarily: (A) for the purposes of selling, renting or otherwise transferring the Domain Name to the Complainant or to a competitor of the Complainant, for valuable consideration in excess of the Respondent's documented out-of-pocket costs directly associated with acquiring or using the Domain Name; (B) as a blocking registration against a name or mark in which the Complainant has Rights; or (C) for the purpose of unfairly disrupting the business of the Complainant;

(ii) Circumstances indicating that the Respondent is using the Domain Name in a way which has confused people or businesses into believing that the Domain Name is registered to, operated or authorised by, or otherwise connected with the Complainant;

(iii) The Complainant can demonstrate that the Respondent is engaged in a pattern of registrations where the Respondent is the registrant of domain names (under .uk or otherwise) which correspond to well known names or trade marks in which the Respondent has no apparent rights, and the Domain Name is part of that pattern;

(iv) It is independently verified that the Respondent has given false contact details to us; or

(v) The domain name was registered as a result of a relationship between the Complainant and the Respondent, and the Complainant: (A) has been using the domain name registration exclusively; and (B) paid for the registration and/or renewal of the domain name registration."

Because of paragraph 3(c)(i) of the Policy, it is unwise to offer to sell the domain to a trade mark owner where there is a dispute or the potential for a dispute. Another effect of that paragraph is that it is easier for a complainant to prove his or her case where a domain name is used commercially. For this purpose, commercial use includes serving pay-per-click advertising or carrying affiliate links.

Paragraph 3(c)(v) is designed to deal with the all-too-common situation where an employee of a company (often in the IT department) or service provider to a company (often a web developer) registers domain name reflecting the company's trade marks, and then refuses to transfer the domain name when a dispute arises.

Disproving an allegation of abusive registration

A non-exhaustive list of factors which may be evidence that the domain name is not an abusive registration is set out in paragraph 4(a) of the Policy:

"(i) Before being aware of the Complainant's cause for complaint (not necessarily the 'complaint' under the DRS), the Respondent has: (A) used or made demonstrable preparations to use the Domain Name or a Domain Name which is similar to the Domain Name in connection with a genuine offering of goods or services; (B) been commonly known by the name or legitimately connected with a mark which is identical or similar to the Domain Name; (C) made legitimate non-commercial or fair use of the Domain Name; or

(ii) The Domain Name is generic or descriptive and the Respondent is making fair use of it;

(iii) In relation to paragraph 3(a)(v) [registration as a result of a relationship between the parties]; that the Registrant's holding of the Domain Name is consistent with an express term of a written agreement entered into by the Parties; or

(iv) In relation to paragraphs 3(a)(iii) and/or 3(c) [pattern of abusive conduct]; that the Domain Name is not part of a wider pattern or series of registrations because the Domain Name is of a significantly different type or character to the other domain names registered by the Respondent."

Paragraph 4(a)(ii) is arguably one of the most important in the Policy. Controversially, some experts have read this rather narrowly, such that domain names which are 100% descriptive of the business in which they are being used are being transferred to complainants in circumstances where it would be extremely difficult if not impossible to put together a credible case in the High Court.

Conclusions

The Nominet procedure is inexpensive and efficient, and the quality of expert decision-making tends to be reasonable. However, the procedure is by no means perfect: it is a blunt instrument and from time to time decisions are issued which seem unfair, at least inasmuch as they represent a significant extension of trade mark owners' rights over the position in trade mark law. Moreover, the very fact that there is a distinct set of rules governing .uk domains (and a distinct dispute resolute procedure) means that, where a dispute involves other domain name extensions as well, there is extra expense.

Taking Good Care Of Your Precious Car

Maintenance is one of the most serious tasks as a car owner. It determines the performance and durability of the vehicle you drive. Checking your vehicle includes more than taking care of its external paint job and keeping it shiny.

This means taking care of all the parts, even under the hood. These are the ones that concern the performance of your vehicle. To have a good idea about the vehicle's routine maintenance is to go through the owner's manual. A little knowledge about mechanics may help you to maintain your vehicle. Some most important things to be checked regularly are the engine, electrical system, brake system and the tires.

The Engine

The engine is the one that makes the car move. Proper maintenance is a must to obtain a smooth run, less fuel consumption and extend the life of the engine. In this area it is necessary to check if theres a leak in your engine, worn out fan belts, dirty spark plug and the air filter. You may also include checking the transmission fluid level, power steering fluid level and coolant level.

The Brakes

The life of the driver depends on the brake, it is necessary to check your brake system from the lines, brake fluid level, handbrake cables and the brake pads. While driving always check the pressure build by the brakes, because sometimes it is unexpected that brakes would fail while youre on the road.

The Tires

The tire wears especially when the car is used every day. It is necessary to check the tire pressure and the thread of the tires, do not forget to also check the condition of the spare tire. Any foreign object from the road may puncture the tires such as nails and other pointed object so always check for those things.

The Electrical System

This would include the bulbs of the cars headlight, parking lights, fuses, and the battery terminals and its connection. Sometimes the cars dont run because the problem is not in the engine but in the electrical system. Be careful when checking especially the battery terminals because of some hazardous element such as acid deposits.

The screws and bolts must be checked if they are still in good condition or tightened well. Also check the wiper blades if the rubber blades need to be replaced to avoid damaging your windshield. Visiting your most trusted mechanic or any quality service station is not a bad idea, besides they have all the tools and expert mechanics to fix any car problem.

The car can be maintained while driving; a proper driving style may help to maintain the car. A poor driving style can wreck the car anytime like over revving the engine etc. No matter how much time and money you spend just to check your cars engine and other parts everyday for maintenance, with a poor driving style this can be meaningless.

Las Vegas Schools Struggle For Teachers

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegasis the most recent slogan to come out from the city, enticing tourists to come out and cut loose. Unfortunately, Las Vegas Schools are struggling, while the casinos enjoy seemingly limitless profits. In fact, most Nevada tax dollars actually go to the casinos! Not only do the Las Vegas Schools struggle on a meager budget, but they also struggle consistently to recruit and keep teachers. These folks, understandably, are the lifeblood of any school system. Without the teachers, the students have no guidance in their learning. Without the teachers, the citys 215,000 children would have no school.

The Las Vegas Schools recently made a public plea for teachers. The school district needs 1,163 teachers to fill vacancies before August 2007. That is almost twice the number the district needed last year. There are not many options if the vacancies are not filled.

Fewer teachers means that the Las Vegas Schools will have to increase class sizes. Another solution would be to require some teachers to teach second classes in addition to their normal workload; that will take time away from lesson planning.

The school district will have to find more teachers using creative recruiting techniques. The number of applications is down by a third from last year, and Las Vegas Schools have almost twice the number of teaching positions still to fill.

The Las Vegas Schools superintendent Walt Rulffes said, "Everything revolves around the success of a good teacher."

The superintendent believes that quality teachers anchor all of his educational initiatives. Rulffes claims he has done everything he can to attract teachers - even partnering with national programs. In fact, many Las Vegas Schools have teams of principals in cities that are downsizing their teaching staff, hoping to draw those teachers to Las Vegas Schools. The group was recently in Detroit, a school district that is seeing a major decrease in its student population. They are, therefore, dealing with the task of eliminating instructional positions, and those teachers need jobs.

Superintendent Rulffes says the problem is the $33,000 starting salary offered to new teachers, or experienced teachers new to Las Vegas Schools. He wants to raise that beginning salary to $40,000 to compete with other school districts in the country. He suggests lawmakers should raise taxes to increase teacher salaries. While most teachers are not in the business to make piles of money, they do need to eat and pay rent. Many teachers even invest a portion of their salaries in their own classrooms, supplies being another problem area for Las Vegas Schools.

Las Vegas Schools have a total student population of 215,860 attending 243 schools in 3 public school districts and 81 private schools. Public school revenue and expenditures vary by school district but Las Vegas Schools spend an average of $5,626 per student each year. In comparison, Reno schools spend approximately $6,000 per student yearly.

7 Tips For Moving Day

Moving Day can involve so many emotions - excitement, elation versus nerves, panic and sadness. Here are some tips to lower the stress levels on moving day.

1. Have your mobile phone charged up! There you are waiting for the call from your solicitor to tell the money has been transferred, you can pick up the keys and you then realise your mobile phone isn't working. Or worse still, the money has not been transferred and there is a problem. Make sure that you can be contactable throughout the day.

2. Pack, pack, pack. Don't leave it too late. Especially if you've lived in your house for a long time. As you sit down to pack you may be tempted to sort, sort, sort which might end up to reminising over the family photo album. Of course that's all very nice, but with so much packing to do, it's the wrong time. Alternatively have the packing all done for you.

3. Be ready for the removal men. The beds need to be dismantled if appropriate, the cushions need to be bagged up, not left on the sofa. Mirrors and pictures need to be protected. The removal men may add extra protection to some items, but not all. Again consider having the packing all done for you - it costs more but it's easier and good for stress levels.

4. Keep your most precious items packed in your own bag and take them with you as hand luggage - they may get lost or broken in the packing and removal process. Though it is unlikely it is possible and why risk it?

5. Don't pack the hoover and basic cleaning equipment. When the removal men have gone you may need to give the house a quick hoover and wipe over ready for the new occupants. Moving in to a dirty house is grim. Hopefully the occupants of your new house will have done the decent thing. Again, you could have this done for you as part of a packing and removal package.

6. Be sure you have everything you need to have your favourite refreshments handy: be it beer, tea,(mugs and milk too), biscuits ready (and a tea towel). You might just need a cuppa after the removal men have left and your home is an empty nest. And when you arrive at your new house you'll know where the kettle is amongst the boxes.

7. At the end of the day, enjoy your favourite take away and a bottle of champers on top of the boxes in your new home. On second thoughts, splash out at your new local restaurant instead. You've made it.

* We hope these tips have been helpful and wish you good luck and success in all your business endeavours.

The Lonelygirl15 Hoax - Home Schooled Entertainment Or Viral Marketing?

Do you remember where you were when Lonelygirl15 was exposed as a hoax? Perhaps the revelation was not quite worthy of such importance, but it is the case that millions of people were not only wondering, but, more importantly, watching- for months on end. Was this one of the most successful attempts at viral marketing in history, and if so, what was being marketed? First, a little back ground for those who haven't been connected to the Internet or exposed to mass media in the past few weeks.

Social Networking on Digital Video

Online exhibitionism is a social blockbuster. Sites like MySpace (56 million members) and FaceBook(9 million members) have proven to be enormously popular websites where those who engage in the no-fee registration can post personal profiles, daily blogs and photos and develop lists of cyber-friends along with cyber-groups with whom to "chill." YouTube is the video version of this virtual socializing phenomenon. Members can upload home made videos (60,000 a day) and use moving pictures to convey their personas and artistic talents (100 million views a day).

YouTube members develop their own "channels" with strings of video uploads; those that have talent find large numbers of subscribers enlisted to follow their channel postings. YouTube has been a particularly successful vehicle for new bands to develop followings and for established bands to market their performances and recordings. Some record companies use YouTube in much the same way that they sought distribution on MTV a decade ago. Others sue because their artists' videos are being posted without authorization.

But YouTube is still principally a playground for the young and the goofy - which doesn't necessarily tighten the "young" classification much. And like all gathering places for young people, there's going to be a lot of hormonally challenged males in search of eye candy. Young, attractive women who post video logs gather substantial followings in relatively short order.

Enter "Bree"

So it was with "Lonelygirl15," the on screen title for a sixteen year old, self described "home schooled" teenager named "Bree" with a pretty face, big eyes and an every-button-in place female adolescent personality. Over the course of the summer she posted twenty nine videos that built an enormous audience with nothing much more than the charm and innocent wit of the typical teenage girl: hormones with feet. Oh, and, as it turned out, a pair of professional writers.

Most of the videos were filmed in her bedroom, although she did go on an outing or two with a male friend. She made some obscure hints at matters occult and mysterious, heightening the interest for her testosterone-soaked fans.

There was something of a story line built into the string of videos, although nothing that would hold the interest of even an art-house movie crowd. She was invited to a party, she defied her father and went anyway, she was punished for it. But there was enough intrigue and popularity (and suspiciously high quality to the videos) to spark a lot of text posts about just who this girl might be. There were also videos from fans posted regarding her identity, its mystery and caricatures of her persona.

So it came to pass that some computer-savvy detectives lured "Bree" to an email site on MySpace that had some tracking software attached. The reply Bree sent was traced to one of the biggest talent agencies in Los Angeles, Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Busted. The crew that had solicited the email posted a message of their discovery and because of the origin of Bree's reply, concluded that the entire caper was some sort of marketing device related to Hollywood and its principal products. Bree joined a reasonably exclusive fraternity of "celebrities" who were "famous for being famous."

A True Viral Epidemic

The two guys who had been scripting and making the videos were "filmmakers" named Ramesh Flinders and Michael Beckett. Since their outing, they haven't missed a step. The actress who played Bree is a young Los Angeleno named Jessica Rose who has since appeared on national talk shows discussing the months-long scam as an artistic venture. She found the casting call on Craigslist, read for the role, went back for two more tests, and got the job. Some of the scripts were written, but she was given the freedom to ad-lib.

The filmmakers themselves claim that Bree was never meant to portray a real person - a little hard to believe, in the absence of any disclaimers or asterisks in the footage. Nor, they say, was it a promotional device for any sort of Hollywood studio or organization. However, they are currently represented by CAA, they were in that office when responding to emails under her nom-du-Tube and Ms. Rose was paid $30,000 for her portrayal of the Lonely Girl. Somebody invested in this caper for a reason.

All of the exposed parties declare without a hint of remorse that the show will go on. Jessica Rose sees the future as continuing posts that develop a storyline. Presumably, the film makers see this as a ticket to bigger screens. And if Lonelygirl15 remains a current fixture on YouTube, there's going to be an entire school of video art devoted to the on-camera responses, commentary, caricatures and other spins on the original YouTube hoaxette.

All of this begs the question: should we care? If so, how? About what? There are thousands of videos on YouTube that are works of comedic fiction, humorous commentary, amateur entertainment of every stripe. Why not a series? The fact that it was a spoof doesn't seem to have offended anyone; after all, YouTube is a platform for every sort of video expression dispensed in small bites.

What it was meant to accomplish might be a question worth caring about, if there was a way to follow the money. If it was done for self-promotional purposes by the film makers, they succeeded brilliantly in one of the most massive examples of viral marketing in our time. The problem is that they have been recognized for producing footage that no one would buy a ticket to go see. The fact that they manufactured a cultural phenomenon in a matter of weeks is probably closer to the import of this stunt.

The term "viral marketing" has become high on the list of Internet capabilities in the tech advertising and marketing shops. Like most of the things that move with the speed of the 'net, no one has figured out quite how to harness it. What the Lonelygirl15 production proved is that under the right circumstances, it is possible to create instant recognition for a virtual entity among enormous numbers of people. But Howard Dean did that in 2004 - with a purpose. For that matter, MySpace and YouTube branded themselves via word-of-net over the course of two or three years and are now billion dollar properties.

What's interesting is that no one, including Rupert Murdoch, is quite sure WHY they are billion dollar properties. Ad success is measured in terms of exposure to eyeballs, and these sites have eyeballs by the tens of millions. But no one quite knows how to turn that fact into sponsorship cash. It's possible that the Lonelygirl15 caper will give some ad genius an idea on how to cash in on video viral marketing. If so, you can look on Bree as an evolutionary step in the process.

Successful Second Chance Foundation Benefit Raised Funds For Organ Donation

According to Robert Mirisch, Executive Director of the Second Chance Foundation, their recent fundraiser was a success held at The Palms Casino Hotel and the Brendon Theaters Hotel in Las Vegas.

We raised a substantial amount of money for the Foundation at our benefit which featured a screening of the classic comedy Some Like It Hot, states Mirisch.

The Second Chance Foundation is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2004 with the mission to educate the public on the critical need of organ and tissue donation, dispel some misconceptions about donation and create a greater willingness to donate.

Tony Curtis, star of Some Like It Hot with Marilyn Monroe and Jack Lemmon, donated several pieces of art towards the silent auction conducted during the benefit. The donated pieces are montages of Tony Curtis, Marilyn Monroe and Jack Lemmon from the movie Some Like It Hot.

Art has given me a second chance to express myself. I sincerely hope that funds received from my art will give somebody else the far more significant second chance, that being a better quality of life, states Tony Curtis.

After the screening of Some Like It Hot there was a question and answer session with Dean Jeff Koep, Dean of the UNLV School of Fine Arts, and Walter Mirisch, executive of the Production Company which produced the film.

Tony Curtis was not able to attend the event, but has subsequently arranged to meet some of the silent auction winners.

We offer limited grants through our Patient Services Program to patients who find themselves in financial need in relation to organ donation. We exist to help patients who are in need of an organ transplant, on a transplant waiting list or are post-transplant, continues Mirisch.

It would have been considered science fiction six decades ago. Now people think of it as "routine". To me it will never be routine. It is the culmination of many miracles being rolled into one miracle that gives suffering patients a Second Chance at life. It is the reason for the name of the Second Chance Foundation and it is the mission of this foundation to make the "Gift of Life" more available to those waiting for it and to make the healing process easier by easing some of the stress (physical, emotional, educational and financial) that those waiting for an organ experience.

The Jewish Torah tells us "To save a single life is to save the world." Can we do any better than that? concludes Mirisch.

Biggest Reasons Why Relationships Don't Work

Do you think that relationships automatically develop into mature partnerships? They do, if both partners are willing to work at it. And yes, there is work involved.

However, there are several reasons why relationships dont work well. We will put in here just five of those biggest reasons.

1. FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE MORE in any relationship, communication is essential. One needs to let the other person know what is in his or her mind. We cannot keep on second-guessing the other person. Open communication even becomes critical so as not to misunderstand each other. Problems arise when one partner expects the other to read his or her mind and you will agree with me that this is close to impossible.

My wife for example is an introvert. In our 1st years of marriage whenever she gets angry she just keeps quiet all the time and I get frustrated because it was like I was talking to a wall. But later she too realized that it was necessary for her to communicate and express herself in order to reconcile and put the unity back between us. We must also seek to be a listener and have an attitude like this: I want to understand her so that I can know why she thinks and feels that way.

2. SELFISHNESS - difficult as this may sound but when we are self-centered, we tend to dismiss the other persons feelings and say anything we want to say to suit our moods. To be outward-looking is to be concerned of the feelings of the other person. You can ask yourself Did I make him happy today or did I hurt his feelings? Most of the time because of pride we tend to hurt the other. In order to maintain unity in a relationship, we need to remove our pride. How? By thinking and caring more for the other person and trying to serve him better.

3. LACK OF SHOW OF AFFECTION we are social people. We interact with each other. One of the best ways to relay our feelings and concerns is a gentle touch, a warm hug, a peck in the cheek and other means of showing our affection. It is important to say You know that I love you to the person dearest to you. However you need to also to show your love outwardly one way or another. For example, I make it a point to kiss my wife goodbye every time I leave for work. Affection brings warmth and closeness to each other.

4. RELATIONSHIPS THAT ARE NOT GOD CENTERED Christians look at the phrase Put God first in your Life. Christians believe that GOD is LOVE and experience His immense love. With the awareness of putting God in the relationship, we elevate that relationship into a higher plane, a higher level. This is an INCREDIBLE way of enhancing the relationship. Trust, concern, caring, being kind, forgiveness etc. naturally follows with this awareness that God is around, guiding the relationship.

5. ABSENCE OF FRIENDSHIP were lovers, not friends as a saying goes. But lets face it, being married for say, 7 years would make any couple fall from the romantic state and settle to a dry relationship. But keeping in mind that you were friends before you got married and that you did things that you had in common, you can press the refresh button and build that friendship. I found out that my wife IS my BEST FRIEND.

Make the first move TODAY; dont fall for the biggest reasons why relationships dont work. Instead, communicate, be unselfish, show your affection, think of God and be the best friend to your partner. Youll be amazed with the results!

Keep it happy, fresh and feeling great!

Behind the Scenes of Setting up a Website

Taking the plunge and deciding to set up a website can be a daunting process if you aren't already experienced in domain purchasing, hosting requirements, dns delegation etc. In this article I am going to attempt to familiarize you with some of the concepts and clarify some of the jargon.

There are quite a few manual configuration requirements to get a domain even started in the right directon of being available to the public. Three things have to be considered initially to secure your virtual block of dirt. The three requirements are as follows.

1. Your initial and ongoing cost to own the domain name of your choice subject to availability.

2. Who is going to host the website for you and the ongoing costs associated with having your site hosted.

3. Domain Name Redicrection. A service that can answer requests to resolve your domain name to the IP (Internet Protocol) address of the computer hosting your website.

Domain name pricing varies and for initial registration of a new domain you can get it quite cheap. Once you've found the best priced domain reseller to purchase your domain name from it is best to buy as many years in advance as you can. If you purchase a domain name for one year for $7.95, when it comes time to renew that domain the price is suddenly $24.95.

Hunt around for the best hosting package you can get. Depending on the size of your site and expected traffic hosting packages can be purchased from as little as $5.95 US per month. Some of the cheap packages include massive bandwidth allocations. Make sure your host uses CPanel. CPanel is a graphical Server Management tool making configuration of your domain a matter of pointing and clicking.

To save money on ongoing hosting fee's, hunt around for a free DNS Service Provider. One in particular is http://freedns.afraid.org. Sites such as these allow you to add several hostnames to your domain. ie mail.yourdomain.com.

Once you have searched all these avenues and have decided it is in your budget to move to the next step the first thing to do is to register your domain. Once you have registered your domain you will receive emails to your nominated email account with the domain management login information for your domain. Keep these emails as you will need that information soon.

Sign up and pay for hosting with the provider on the hosting plan you chose for cost effectiveness. They will email you your login information and server IP addresses. Again keep these emails for future reference.

Now go to your free dns host. Sign up for an account. During the sign-up process they will notify you of their name server addresses. Write down these addresses as they are also needed soon. DNS Hosts require that their name servers respond as authoritive for your domain before your domain can become active, this requires the name servers retrieved during the DNS host sign up process be entered into the domain registrar.

Go back to the emails you received for registering your domain name. There should be a link in the email to the management section for your domain. The username and password for the management section will also be in this email. Click on the link and enter the username and password. Depending on your host their should be a section related to Name Servers. Becareful not to select to use your hosting company's name service hosting unless you already paid for it. When you have the correct section there will be space for you to enter from four to six name servers. This is where the name server addresses received from the Free DNS Host are to be entered.

This tells the backbone internet servers that if you want to find www.yourdomain.com ask ns1.nameservercompany.com. This change can take 24-48 hours to propogate through the world-wide domain name servers.

Once the world-wide domain servers register that www.yourdomain.com is now pointed to your free dns hosting company as authoritive you will be able to specify the IP address of the actual machine that will host your web pages. This IP address will have been in the email you received from your hosting company. This IP address should be added for the domain prefixes mail www ftp smtp and any others that may have been specified in the email from your hosting company.

Your domain is now pointing to your hosting provider and the behind the scenes redicrection process is taken care of. You are now ready to start building that high rise building on your virtual block of dirt. There is no limit to how high you can build on your land.

For a ready made, customizable website have a look at Joomla. Joomla is a reliable PHP based complete website solution. Extensions are available to customize Joomla in many ways, from an online store to a virtual community or dating site. It takes time to understand how Joomla works but once you get the hang of it you will realise how invaluable it is.

My site http://www.bizebooks.com.au has two packages containing complete website scripts and utilities. The best part with these scripts is that after you use them to build your site you can resell them and make money from them. Two products in particular I recommend are The AX Gold Webmasters Toolkit and Scripts2Sell. Search for them on the site and have a look at some of the scripts in these packages.

Naming Your Baby According To Kabbalah

Naming your baby according to the kabbalah

Many believe the name of a person holds much more than can be seen. The kabbalah states that the name of a person will certainly determine their faith: success, health, character, career, romantic life, disappointments, illness, setbacks, divorce, stress and separation. It is ones choice to stick with his born name, or make adjustment in order to change his life energy.

According to Kabbalah experts, each letter of the alpha-bet is the continuation of a revitalizing light. A special and unique force lies in each different letter, and is not found in other letters. This power can be investigated through the shape of the letter, and kabbalarian numbers which reveal valuable information by combining the numbers assigned to each letter in the name.

Each person lives by the effect of these forces, combined in his name. An ideal name would create a mixture of forces to balance the persons other influences coming from his birth date, name of his mother, his last name and so forth.

In the case of a newborn baby, knowing the names of the parents, and the last name, are sufficient in order to choose a balanced name.

Each change in combination of the letters in the name will result in a change in balance of powers. The order of the letters matters as well The first letter is the most significant in its influence.

The letters reveal three aspects of a person: thought, speech, and action.

Action lies in the written name, Speech lies in the sound of the name being called, and thought lies in the thought about a person carrying this name. These three aspects create a great meaningful pattern which can be detected and analyzed by kabbalah experts.

The mathematical principal in naming according to kabbalah is called gematria. Each letter in Hebrew is associated with a number. Adding up the numbers of all letters will result in a number that represents the person. For example Jacob, in Hebrew is spelled with the letters yud-ayin-kuf-bet, and give the number 182, which is 7 times the name of God (yud-heh-vav-heh) . The number 7 represents harmony and completeness seven days a week, seven notes in a musical scale. Jacob therefore represents the complete and harmonious expression of God's name.

Non recommended choices in the kabbalah are two letter names, which do not posses enough strength, and also unisex names. It is important to keep in mind that each letter determines the faith of the baby.

Choosing the right and balanced name for your baby is a serious thing, and should be done with the help of a kabbalah expert. This is mainly because there are many aspects to be aware of as the last name, the date of birth, names of the parents and even location of birth. All of these might make a name that is right for one person, very misfortunate for another.

Pictures of Sports Cars: See Yourself in the Drivers Seat and the Car Becomes Yours

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. So imagine this

A beautifully framed picture of a sports car: youre in the passenger seat, enjoying the ride.

No. Thats too limited. Lets go for broke. Visualize yourself as the driver in this sports car picture. You are definitely behind the wheels, confidently cruising down the highway. Can you see it? Do you have in your minds eye an exotic sports car picture? Moreover, to be even more specific, make it the picture of a fast sports car speeding down the highway.

And while youre having this vision, why not extend your imagination a little further. Close your eyes. There you are. You can see the sports car picture. So youre looking at the picture of a Ferrari. Lets say Ferrari F430 Spider. Take a look. No?

Well, what sports car picture do you want to visualize yourself driving? What photo do you want to put in this picture of the sports car?

Lamborghini picture? Not to your taste? How about the Jaguar XK8 Convertible? Or why not a picture of the Chevrolet Corvette Convertible? Perhaps youd like something more classic, like the Austin or the Lotus.

But for the moment, lets just settle and agree on the picture of the Ferrari. You can change your mind later, at any time you want. After all, this is your visualization. Put any picture of fast sports car you want in your dream.

Now, moving on to selecting the color in the picture of the sports car. Well make it red. Of course, with your imagination you can make it any color you wantperhaps your favorite color.

So theres your complete visualization picture: You, behind the wheels of your own luxury sports car, breezing along a long stretch of almost deserted highway. Ah, what a beauty this car is. The driving pleasure. The power. The freedom. And oh, what a great feeling--the contentment as the cool wind kisses your face while you lose yourself in this experience of driving the sports car of your dreams.

But wait. Look who just pulled up alongside you. Me. You didnt know I was sharing this vision with you, did you? And Im driving my new, red Ferrari F430 Spider.

In my sports car picture fantasy, my car was in my favorite color--purple, but it wasnt immediately available in that color (and it would be too much of a long wait) so I accepted the red, my second choice.

Oh, and I see you decided on a different car and color for yourself. No problem. It is, after all, your visualization. And you do look good behind the wheels of your blue Bugatti. Wow, when you dream, you really do dream big. But then, thats as it should be. You do deserve it. And it sure suits youyou and your Bugatti sports car.

This is one magnificent sport car picture, isnt it?

Does Affiliate Marketing Really Require A Website?

I hear a lot of internet marketers claim doing business in the World Wide Web requires ones own web site, suggesting that your own website is your online headquarters. I agree that having your own web site can help you dramatically in your endeavor to achieve online success, but a website is not the end all and be all of internet salesmanship, especially when talking about affiliate program marketing. You certainly could make a living online as an affiliate even if you do not have the benefit of your own website!

So it is possible to earn a living online and never have your own web site!? How is this possible and more importantly how can this be done? Read on, my new friend, as we discuss alternative strategies that will allows you to make the most out of your affiliate marketing campaigns without having your own webpage on the net.

Affiliate marketing is a program whereby the affiliate can earn some generous commissions for every successful sale they manage to refer to the affiliate merchant. The affiliates task is merely to pre-sell the affiliate merchants goods. The sales page, the payment processing, the digital delivery, and post sales services shall be the responsibilities of the affiliate merchant. This leaves you free to concentrate on affiliate program promotions.

As an affiliate you have to refer or direct people to the affiliate merchants sales page using your affiliate program link. Note: Your affiliate links is extremely important as they identify you instead of someone else plus your affiliate link is how the affiliate program owners know who to pay. They will tell the system that a visitor was actually referred by you the affiliate.

Without a web site to promote or marketing the affiliate programs you belong to you will need other channels to get the word out. This can be done through the following techniques:

Use Article Marketing

We all know how powerful affiliate marketing can be in link building campaigns. But instead of providing for links to your own website, you could provide your affiliate links instead. Article directories allow you a resource box per submission, where you could tell your readers about yourself as well as leave a link of your choice. Now, you have to remember that some article directories do not allow affiliate links in the bodies of the articles themselves, but affiliate links are perfectly allowed in the resource box. Great places to start your article marketing campaign are www.ezinearticles.com , www.goarticles.com and www.isnare.com.

Use Forum Marketing

Online communities, or forums, are likewise great channels where you could promote your affiliate links. Membership in pHp 2.0 based forums gives you a signature box where you could advertise your links. Use this to advertise your affiliate links. For every post you will make, your signature box would appear. Post a thousand messages, and youll have a thousand pages advertising your affiliate links! Want to know the forums which are relevant to the subject serviced by the affiliate products youre promoting? Use the tool at www.link-advantage.com/search to find the appropriate online community.

Advertise in eZines

This may cost you some cash, as many eZines charge for advertising space. Nonetheless, you could expose your affiliate links to highly targeted prospects using this approach. Imagine if the eZine has a list of 10,000 people. Youd immediately be able to reach 10,000 quality leads with one advertisement. Again, you dont need a website. Simply use your affiliate link in your ads.

The absence of your own website is never a bar to online success. Most of the strategies we have discussed here can be accomplished without spending a single cent. If you do not have the financial resources to register a domain or to subscribe to a web hosting service, you could still achieve success with affiliate marketing. Joining an affiliate program is free. Promoting your affiliate links can likewise be availed of without any charges. Good luck!

Running A Home Business & Working Full Time Outside Your Home

Very few people will claim they are bringing enough money home to meet all their needs and wants. Several will begin a home business to supplement their income while remaining at the full time job outside. This can take a toll on the personal life as well as the health of just about anyone running a home business and working full time outside the home.

One of the first considerations should be whether or not the home business in conflict with the full time job as many employers will not tolerate competition from one of their employees. For example, a person working in a retail environment in nearly any capacity may find themselves in conflict with company policies if they begin an online retail outlet. Or someone working for a carpet cleaning company starting a home business offering cleaning services part time as a home business. Being in conflict often forces the employee to make a choice of keeping their full time job or finding work elsewhere.

There are many home business opportunities available that will not conflict with outside work environments, but the time involved in operating the home business will need to examined to determine if it can be done effectively while working full time. The business operator will only have limited availability as well as time to spend on the business and the time needed to run the business will have to be reallocated from another part of the day.

A person with a family will need to know that any time needed to run the home business will have to come from time usually used for family functions or just spending time with the wife and kids. The full time employer will not tolerate someone spending time on their home business while being paid so dividing the time between work, running the business and family may or may not be worth the extra income from a home business.

In some cases, there are home business opportunities that require little time and enable it to be run at the convenience of the owner. With these jobs time can be arranged in which to run the business without losing time with family and friends, although sacrificing sleep or relaxation time may be necessary. Overall, there will be some sacrifice of time and personal involvement when running a business and working full time outside the home.

Time management will be essential in creating work-life balance as well as remaining organized so as not to allow important aspects of work, home business operation and family slip through the cracks. A single schedule guiding the commitments for all obligations will be needed in order to accomplish everything that needs done and to stay ahead of the work.

Successful Work from Home Careers

Just search for work from home careers in Google and you will see thousands, in fact millions of people are competing to get you to read their 'unique' ideas about working from home. Each one claims to be the best, however having spent the past few years trying out various work from home businesses, I found that many of them required the skills and time that I just didn't have.

My career allows me to work from my home, in the comfort of familiar surroundings, and has proven to me that a work from home career can be both exciting and straightforward. The most unusual opportunity to me has become the most valuable, ensuring my high income of around $11,000 over eleven months - it has been totally enjoyable and, above all, easy.

I started out in business thinking that I had to buy into business to make it. Losing me money along the way, I fell for numerous scams. One of the most memorable was an opportunity that taught me that we can't all sell products and earn a living. The thing here was that I did not find a suitable product that had not been on the market already, and I don't have the best of selling skills. Bearing in mind that I could only earn from that opportunity by selling products, this meant that working from home wasn't always an option. This career failed and moved onto the work from home career that has made me a success.

Having no knowledge of how to sell and market a product was not an issue in my current work from home position. I didn't need to be an expert in anything, in fact I literally spent very little time building up what is now a very lucrative and top ranking online business.

Building careers by working at home used to be an unusual way of earning money, but now it is seen as one of the easiest ways to make money. You can even save money by not having to drive to the office every day, and because you do not need to rent office or shop space, most of your money is profit from the day you begin your work from home career.

The formula I found to earning an income this way was indeed a great lesson to learn and has led me to see results, not just by the number of hits my site (http:///www.mysecret2success.com) sees daily, but by the figures on my bank statements.

Simply being true to yourself and ensuring that what you want is out there to be had, then thats the first step. Being sceptical before you begin a work from home career will see you fail even before you begin - a lesson here is to be confident that you are going to achieve fantastic results and you will see those results over time.

Basically by following a proven program that has already been tested by a team of like-minded people, will ensure you see success.

Can it be done by giving away free products?

Well, of course the answer to this is quite simply a yes! Being part of a program that was giving away free learning products without obligation to my customers was the beginning for me, and it can be for you too. Think about how much you want to achieve by taking very little time out of your already busy day. I found this working from home careers opportunity around a year ago and it has started paying more than I could have earned by selling and marketing products that nobody seemed interested in.

By giving away free products and services, you can be an online success. Work from home careers can be made easy by becoming part of that big team, all you have to do is be confident in yourself.

4 Steps Away From Your Own Website

In the last decade, the Internet has become one of the most important and effective platforms in which to promote yourself and your products. But if youre not an experienced webmaster, getting such a project underway can seem a bit overwhelming. However, this article will show you how such a project can become both a fun and an enriching experience for anybody who wants to create his or hers own website. You will learn how to built and maintain a practical and efficient website for all your visitors to enjoy.

The Plan:

The first and undoubtedly most important, but often forgotten, step is drawing up a plan. In this stage of the process, it is the time to lay out the details of your website project. Of course your website is a work in progress, and you will most likely change many things along the way, but if you do not have a clear idea of the direction you want your project to go in, you may find yourself overwhelmed by the magnitude of such an ambitious project and give it up all together. Here are a few things I strongly suggest you do not overlook when planning for you Internet project:

Give yourself a deadline:

Of course this is not set in stone and there are no consequences for not finishing in time. But it is a good idea to set deadlines in order to maintain some sort of order in your project.

Make a list of people who can help:

We all have that friend or relative who is good with computers or even an old college buddy who has a knack for writing articles. You can ask them if they can help you in any of the aspects of your project.

Make a budget:

How much are you I willing to invest is an important question you must ask yourself at this stage. You will have to do a bit of research at this point. Again, none of the decisions you take on are set in stone, but having a good idea of how much designing your website, registering you domain name or hosting you website will cost is an important part of the first step.

Define your website:

A few questions you should ask yourself at this point are what will the overall theme of the website be and who is your intended public. A good idea for a first website would be to build it around a passion of yours.

Plan the overall look of your website:

Without getting into specific detail, such as logos, pictures or color scheme, it is a good idea at this stage to have a clear idea of what you want your website to look like. Depending on the overall theme and nature of you website, you will have to decide on the look you will want to achieve. For example, a site talking about your favorite sport or television series will not have the same look as a website promoting business related books.

Decide how much time you want to put in:

Finally, in this step you will have to take some time and think about how much of the work you would like to do yourself and how much of it is going to be done by professionals. There are certain aspects of a website that are more time consuming than others, so you will want to spend your time on the things you deem most important.

If youre having problems with this stage, dont get discouraged. Like I said earlier, it is without a doubt the most difficult stage in the process. While you can have professional do things for you in subsequent stages, deciding the overall look and theme of your website is a decision you have to take all on your own.

The content:

The next step in creating a popular website your visitors will consistently come back to is to offer them the information they need through useful and up-to-date content. If you have already defined a clear picture of what your website is about in the first step of the process, you can now easily understand what your potential visitors are looking for. You should also decide at this point, in what way you would like communicate this information. Articles and tutorials are a great way of offering free and compelling information to your visitors.

There are numerous website that offer articles you could use on your website. You can browse through an extensive collection of articles and add them to your website. As long as you follow the guidelines set by the website and the respective authors, you may use these articles on your site as a way to offer compelling content for you readers. There are several of these article directory websites out, such as goarticles.com, easyarticles.com and articledashboard.com just to name a few. It may also be a good idea to write your own articles. This isnt as difficult as it may seem, especially if your sites theme is based on a subject youre particularly passionate about. You may even share your articles on these article directory sites. In return, your article may be published on other websites with an active hyperlink to yours.

You may also have a product to sell or to promote. Even though this part of your website is indented to get you a profit, this does not mean you cant offer any relevant free information to your user. In fact, offering the reader a good and honest review of both the pros and cons of purchasing such a product can be a great way of concluding sales.

Another great way of helping your visitors in their search for answers is by redirecting them to other websites that offer complementary information. You should however note that asking for permission to link to these websites is highly recommended and is the ethical and acceptable way of doing things.

The Design:

Graphic design:

As important as the content is in getting your readers to come back to your site, the graphics and overall appearance of the website is just as important in creating a great first impression. Everything, from the color scheme, the graphics used, such as your logo, to your picture selection all work together toward achieving the look you ultimately want your website to have. The important thing is not to get carried away with the graphics on your website. If you take a look at any corporate website on the Internet, you will notice they have a nice clean look, relying on nicely positioned photos and carefully selected graphics. You should also try to remain fairly consistent in your overall layout. Essentially, every page on you website should look the same. This will maximize your sites usability, allowing visitors to navigate with ease throughout your website.

One option can be to use templates that can be either found for free on the net, or that come with software you may purchase. It should be noted that this will require some form of coding skill to add the content you need for your website. You must also realize that finding a template that perfectly matches your needs may be hard to find, but remains a viable solution for your first website. Now for those of us who want to create a customized website that will suit our requirements, hiring a professional designer is another possibility. Of course, this can cost a considerable amount of money in the long run, especially if you plan on creating more than one website. Therefore, learning how to create simple graphics for your website is a great way of saving money that could eventually be spent more wisely on a good hosting company for example.

Mastering a photo editing program such as Photoshop may take several years, but creating simple graphics such as a logo, a banner or a content box is possible with a little help and practice. A great way of learning to design graphics for websites is with the help of tutorials. You can find loads of free tutorials on sites like tutorialoutpoust.com, pixel2life.com, good-tutrorials.com and many more. With a step by step visual approach, youll be creating beautiful graphics in no time.

Coding:

With your content and graphics now ready, you can now move on to the next step of creating the actual website. You must code everything into a language called HTML (HyperText Markup Language) that Internet browsers can recognize. Now any experienced programmer can manually code HTML using a text editor such as Notepad. You may try your hand at manually coding a website if youre up for a challenge. You may be able to code a simple website using free online courses such as the ones we find at w3schools.com.

Of course, these days theyre exists a multitude of software such as Dreamweaver that can help you program entire websites quicker and more efficiently. Like Photoshop, it may take a while before you get the hang of this program, but you may easily create a simple and appealing website that fits your immediate needs with the help of free online tutorials on websites such as pixel2life.com and many more.

Another option would be to have a professional programmer create a website to your specifications, but again this can be quite costly in the long run. It all depends on your budget and the nature of your intended website. If its a commercial website, you may feel that investing in a designer and programmer may be worth it because there is a possibility you may make the money back fairly quickly.

Get up and running:

At this stage of the process, you are just one step away of realizing your dream of having our very own website. Once your website is ready, it is time to get your pet project out there to the World Wide Web, for the whole world to see.

Web Hosting:
This is the time for you to choose where you are going to put your site. There are multitudes of hosting services available for you to choose from, but it is important to do so according to your requirements. There are many places on the web where you can host your website for free. Of course, there will be some conditions imposed on you in return, such as adding an advertising banner.
If you have an Internet connection, your Internet Service Provider will most likely have a space where you could place your website for free. Although limited in space, this can be a viable second option for your very first personal website. You could also use this space to test out your website. If you plan on operating a commercial and professional looking website, you will have to purchase space from a hosting service. Depending on your needs, there are an endless amount of hosting packages that will be offered to you. The size of your website and the amount of visitors you expect are some of the factors you must consider before signing-up with any hosting service. I recommend using Godaddy.coms hosting service. They offer several packages to choose from, all of which are relatively cheap and reliable.

Domain Name:

This is also the stage where you must register a domain name. Your domain name will be unique name (address) that will best represent your website. A good tip is to keep the name relatively short, so that your viewers will remember it the name next time they want to visit your website. For personal websites, a good idea would be to use your name. As for business related websites, this stage may be a bit trickier because a lot of the best domain names have already been taken. This is where your creativity comes into play. Once youve done your research and have come up with a good name, I once again recommend visiting Godaddy.com and learn more about their offers.

Maintaining you website:

After all that hard work, you finally have your website up and running. At this point in the project, you can take a breather and be proud of what you have accomplished, but you also have to keep in mind that it is crucial to your websites success that you maintain your website. In fact, maintaining your website is perhaps the most important aspects of running a website. Some of the steps you will have to take are: making sure your links remain functional and keeping your content up-to-date. Aside from the fact that frequently updating your websites content will help you with your ranking in search engines; it will also benefit the lifeblood of your website, your users. Offering useful and up-to-date information to your visitors will inevitably keep them coming back for more.
